Important RMD Update
On December 23, 2008, the Worker, Retiree, and Employer Recovery Act of 2008 was signed into law. This new legislation allows individuals to suspend their 2009 required minimum distributions (RMD) from all Qualified accounts. Read more 
John Hancock Extends Participation in Money Market Guarantee Program
On November 24, 2008, the U.S. Treasury announced that it would extend its Temporary Guarantee Program for Money Market Funds through April 30, 2009. The Program was originally scheduled to terminate on December 18, 2008, for Money Market Funds that elected to participate in the Program. Read more
